MBADC American Idol Armchair Quarterback 2005

American Idol from the perspective of someone who's booked artists at the national-level: who we like in the competition, what works, what doesn't work, what contestants can do to improve their chances of success, and advice you can apply to your own performances.

Week Nine

Monday, March 14, 2005 (Final 12)

Key members of our writing staff who normally write this feature are severely under the weather with colds and in no condition to do much more than babble, so we'll get to the meat of the matter and revise this page to add details later.

We voted for: Bo Bice, because of all the contestants, he is the true musician. A win for Bo has the potential to bring dramatic change to the music industry. 2nd choice: Nadia Turner. Tonight she nailed it, and she has huge star quality, but we make her second choice because she's still finding herself as an artist, but is on her way.

Ryan Seacrest Smart Quip of the Night: The show was too jammed for smart quips or much humor, but we like him just the same.
