MBADC Contributing Writer Wins Award
OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE August 6, 2007 - Boston, MA
MBDAC writer, Music business consultant, and Boston Hip-Hop Alliance
Co-Founder Darcie-Nicole Wicknick was presented with a special award by the
Mass Industry Committee Hip-Hop Awards on August 5, 2007. Darcie received a
Music Industry Award, recognizing her leadership in the community via the
efforts of The Boston Hip-Hop Alliance, “…Ask Darcie” Music Business
Consulting, and teaching; both as a professional and as a volunteer.
Darcie also sings for R&B/Soul/Hip-Hop outfit Velvet Stylus. The band played
live and underscored all awards segments with Hip-Hop instrumentals
