Striped Andes Chocolate Mint Curls
People love these, and they're ridiculously easy once you get the hang of
it: Using a vegetable peeler, shave the long edge of an Andes chocolate mint
candy. After the first couple of strokes, the chocolate will warm enough in
your fingers to produce perfect green and brown striped chocolate curls.
Turn the candy around and shave the other long side, too. Discard (or eat)
the pieces that are too small, or chop finely for another use. Shave 10-15
candies into a small bowl, cover, and refrigerate and use as a garnish atop
whipped cream for Irish Coffee or hot chocolate, or use on chocolate mint
sundaes, cakes, etc..
