COSMETIC SURGERY & SELF ESTEEMMBADC:
From reading your website, I gather that you definitely get that youre not just
dealing with bone and muscle, youre also dealing with somebodys self-esteem.
BA: Oh, absolutely. Cosmetic surgery is
really surgery for the self-esteem. Whether its doing for example, on an 8 year-old
kid who has really big ears and they get teased at school, or for someone whos been
bothered by their nose for all their life or theyve been teased, or theyre
unhappy with the way they look
As [they] age, people feel tired and dont feel
so great about themselves. The self-esteem is a very, very, very important component of
cosmetic and plastic surgery.
