Gabrielle Goodman
This former JMT/Verve
recording artist has worked with an extensive cast of artists including
Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, Patti Labelle, Andre Ward, Kevin Eubanks, Walter
Beasley, Lonnie Liston Smith, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Freddie Jackson to
name a few. Her ASCAP-award winning song, “You Can Make a Story Right”,
which she wrote with Wayne Braithewaite, appeared on Chaka Khan’s
Grammy-winning album The Woman I Am. Gabrielle Goodman has also
composed for Roberta Flack.
This soprano is
a Montreux and Newport Jazz Festivals alumna, and has performed with the
Boston Pops, The Yamayuri Symphony Orchestra of Tokyo, The Baltimore
Symphony, and The Syracuse Symphony. Her third album, Angel Eyes
(released on her own Goodness Music label) has met critical acclaim. Ms.
Goodman is a graduate of Peabody Conservatory, and teaches in the Voice
Department at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
