Recordable CDs with mechanical license fees built into the price?
Q. Are there recordable CDs on the market that have the
fees paid? If so, what brands are they? Thanks!
A. If you mean
recordable CDs you can dub onto that have the price built in for
mechanicals, or for master uses, we double-checked with MBADC contributing
writer Darcie-Nicole Wicknick, who heads the Boston Hip Hop Alliance. The
answer is no.
